Happy happy FriYAY! I’ll never get tired of saying that. Weekends are ze best! I actually have to work weekends, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t love them. I still get more time with loved ones and there is always something fun to do! However, most of those fun things include fun food… so I love to start my weekends off with a killer workout.
I get the most out of my workout when it is early in the morning. While walking to the gym, Andrea spotted this really pretty light as the sun was rising! Naturally, we paused for a photo op.
Stretching is the most important thing you can do pre- and post-workout. It prevents injury, warms your muscles up, and prevents you from being as sore the next day. Make sure you take at least 10 minutes to get in some good stretches! I’m not talking about holding a stretch and counting to 10. Hold it for awhile and really feel your body release.

This morning’s workout is posted below! Have an awesome weekend!
1st station: 20 mountain climbers, 20 hip thrusts with feet on sliders, 20 circles of each arm while in plank position. Go through and do as many rounds as you can in 5 minutes.
2nd station: 20 split squats, 10 rows (each arm), 20 shoulder presses. Go through and do as many rounds as you can in 5 minutes.
3rd station: *Using resistance bands – 20 rows (10 each arm), 10 abs twists (each side), 20 chest presses. Go through and do as many rounds as you can in 5 minutes.
4th station: 20 lateral lunges (10 each side), 20 super plank rows, 20 air squats. Go through and do as many rounds as you can in 5 minutes.
Finished! Remember to stretch and drink lots of water : )
