Mother Loves You

Gird your loins because this is about to be a lengthy post. So much has been happening (surprise, surprise) in the Howard household! Sam and I love to keep busy and we are really, really good at it.

The past 3 weeks Sam and I have been in-between leases and therefore – homeless. Dun, dun, duuuunnnn! Thank goodness we have amazing friends who let us stay at their apartments and family on the weekends. We basically lived at Whole Foods for all three meals since we weren’t really able to cook. I now know every worker there by name and can tell where everything is – haha. The last weekend before moving in we stayed at our parents’ homes and then Sam jetted off to Peru!

Here is a sneak peak into my planner (which you all know is Erin Condren) …

Sunday: Sam left for a medical missions trip to Peru. He and his team first stayed in Lima and are now traveling all over the Amazon, setting up medical clinics to help the Peruvians. Ugh, overachiever. I am so proud of him. He has been sending me pictures and it looks beautiful, but I’m happy to be stateside LOL. How cool to be on the Amazon though?!

Monday: I moved us into our new condo, which is so nice and rooooomy. I have no idea how we accumulated so much stuff, but it all fits perfectly. Thank you to my little brother, mom, and mom-in-law for helping!!! <3

Next Thursday: I leave for Santa Barbara! WHOO! Celebrating my best friends birthday in wine country?! Yes. Please.

Next Friday: Sam comes home. (Just missed him 🙁 ) A month without seeing each other is difficult, but absence makes the heart grow founder… right?

And then September 1st we both start our classes for Fall. Crazy busy, but crazy good.

In the meantime, I am trying to keep myself super busy while Sam is away. I don’t want a single second of downtime to think about how much I am missing him. SO, in between work, meetings, and working out – I am shopping and shooting alot with Andrea. Tough life.

I recently got these jeans by Mother Denim and I am in love. Mother jeans have always been a favorite of mine. They fit like a glove. If you live in Michigan, make sure to check out Caruso Caruso for jeans. It is the only place I get them. #MotherLovesYou

As many of you know, my style is streamline. Not into a lot of accessories or anything like that. I styled this classic pair of white denim jeans with a pale pink, silk camisole (from Forever21 believe it or not). If you’re going to rock a camisole like this – you’re going to need these.

The lighting was so perfect the other night, it was hard to narrow done the pictures… so I didn’t – haha. Enjoy <3
