Guys… IT’S HERE. Not officially, but the weather says otherwise. Fall weather is my faaaavorite season! Get ready for lots of Fall-ish recipes. Ah I’m just so happy. Okay, this bread. Probably one of my favorite things that I have made so far. Sam and I ate the whole loaf in 2 days. It is really yummy for breakfast with a hot cup of coffee and a little bit of almond butter on top 🙂 MMM! It is loaded with all of the flavors of Fall. It was also the perfect study snack! I brought some in to work to have
A muffin that won’t give you a muffin-top. Sign me up! I love muffins. Egg muffins, savory muffins, sweet muffins. They are so easy to just grab’n go. And they are the perfect size! I find that when I bake loafs, I cut myself a huuuuuge (Donald Trump voice) slice, whereas a muffin is already a perfect serving size! Lemon poppyseed is one of my favorite muffin flavors. It’s really light, airy, and refreshing, but also is a comfort food. I always try to bake grain-free, which is great if you have allergies or are simply trying to avoid grains!
Homemade almond mylk is one of my favorite things to make – especially due to it’s secret ingredients. Plain almond mylk is delicious, but I like to add nutty and caramel notes to mine. Almond mylk is great for so many things. Cereals, latte’s, smoothies, or plain jane! It is thick and creamy, similar to cow’s milk, but so much better for you. I make big batch’s of this weekly and Sam and I devour it! Feel free to mix this recipe up! I add two dates for a little sweetness and it adds a hint of caramel – delicious!
Nutty, roasted hazelnuts paired with decadent, smooth dark chocolate. The best combination known to man. I love to spread Nutella on just about anything. My favorite is in-between a warmed croissant, with a cup of coffee, watching a Christmas movie. Ugh, yes pleeeeease! If you share this love for Nutella, then boy do I have a treat for you! I’m not vegan, vegetarian, or strictly raw, but I do love to try and eat that way as much as possible. Don’t get me wrong, nothing beats a juicy steak or a grilled chicken wrap. But when I eat mostly plant-based foods, I
Mint and chocolate is one of the best combo’s out there, I think! Sam and I are both obsessed with the flavor and go through pints of mint chocolate chip ice cream like it’s our job. Last night, while watching the MSU/Rutger game, Sam and I were craving some mint chocolate chip and I quickly whipped these delicious cookies up. A way better alternative to ice cream, but tastes just the same and satisfies the craving for dessert (which I get quite frequently). Leaves you feeling a lot happier and healthier too! : ) Moist on the inside, crunchy on the
