Andrea and I had quite the dramatic shoot the other day! It was a little cloudy outside, but the air was warming up, so we took advantage of it. We got to the top of one of our favorite parking structures and to our surprise, a tornado was passing through! Not really… but it sure as heck felt like one! We started our shoot by chasing Andrea’s hat around for about 5 minutes. Frustrated and cold, we eventually just said forget it and went to our usual spot- Governor Snyder’s parking garage (LOL). I’ll be honest, all I want to
The minute that this line came out, it inspired me. “Goal crusher.” It just pumps me up to crush my goals! I paired it with my “free spirit” bra, which brought even more inspiration. A gypsy princess crushing her goals. Yes. I have definitely been teeter tottering with my goals lately. I am normally very disciplined at keeping my “eyes on my prize”, but recently… I haven’t cared. It is a goal of mine to workout at least 4x a week, but that hasn’t been happening. It is my goal to not eat processed foods, but yesterday I was deep into
Top HERE // Pants HERE // Shoes HERE // Bag HERE // Watch HERE Photos by Andrea Kerbuski Hello, hello and happy hump daaayyyy! I can’t say that without picturing a camel in my head. That commercial is so stinking hilarious. I can’t believe that it is MID-JULY. Blowing my mind right now. Sam and I are moving out of our apartment this Friday and into a new condo! I am so excited for it. We will have so much more room (for activities – Step Brothers, anyone?), a finished basement, our own garage… Ah! It’ll just be so much better.
Let me first start by saying that I have never been a morning person. I like my bed and I love my sleep. That all changed, however, when I married Sam. Sam definitely is a morning person and he has rubbed off on me. It all started when we only had one car and I would have to drive him to school at 4:30am. Yes, 4:30AM. At first, it was tough, but after doing it for a week – it became easier! Mornings are the most productive time of the day for me now. I get up, make breakfast, do
I really can’t complain – this has been one mild winter for us Michiganders! But man alive it was f-f-freeeezing the other day. Good thing I was prepared and still got my workout in. I’m not kidding, I am a grump if I don’t get my weekly workouts in. Not to mention the boundless amounts of energy I have. The other day I was really sore from a tough leg day, so I decided to stay home from the gym. When Sam came home that night he was just staring at me until I finally asked why… he looked at
Working out. Something that most people make excuses for. “I’m tired”, “I don’t know what to do”, “I’m too sore.” Yes, some of those things may be true at the time, but it’s all about pushing through and getting your workout done! Even if that means going for a walk. BE ACTIVE! Not only will you feel more confident, but your mood will change. I promise you. Quick story. When Sam and I first moved away, I think I went into a mini depression. I went from working out quite frequently and being very familiar with all of the gyms in
Happy happy FriYAY! I’ll never get tired of saying that. Weekends are ze best! I actually have to work weekends, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t love them. I still get more time with loved ones and there is always something fun to do! However, most of those fun things include fun food… so I love to start my weekends off with a killer workout. I get the most out of my workout when it is early in the morning. While walking to the gym, Andrea spotted this really pretty light as the sun was rising! Naturally, we paused for a photo
While in Greece this past summer, I spent one night in Athens and shopped my little behind off at the Mango store. Everything I bought was white, white, white! I guess I’m a little obsessed, but it is the perfect summer tone. I’m about those neutrals, baby. Come Labor Day wearing white is no longer acceptable in the world of fashion… so I’ll be wearing white everyday until then 😉 Most people tend to stay away from wearing white, but I definitely gravitate towards it. It screams crisp, clean, and chic to me. Add a statement piece (or not) and
