It is January, which means the #Whole30January is in full swing! This is something that I like to do every year. The Whole30 has seen some controversy recently, but coming from someone who has done 3 times now – I love it. It is described as a ‘nutritional reset’ and that is exactly what I need after the holidays. I feel so good after completing it. My skin glows, my hair is shiny, my energy is through the roof, and it has helped me keep my sweet tooth in check (big win for me!). I am also quite the wine
The best part of winter is making rich hot chocolate! Only downside is that often times hot chocolate is very high in calories, sugar, and fat. Eeek. Luckily, I have found the best *pure hot chocolate recipe that is still very rich, creamy, and chocolatey! I topped mine with CoCoWhip by So Delicious. It is dairy free, non-GMO, gluten free, vegan, no hydrogenated oils, and zero trans fat. WINNING! It has a coconutty taste, too, that has me wanting to swan-dive into the container. I love the taste of peppermint so I added some crushed candy cane on top of mine.
